My approach

My approach is relational and psychodynamic, aiming to be open and explore what is underneath the surface. Sessions are conversational and collaborative, shaped by what feels most important to you in the moment. You don’t need to have the “right” words or a clear agenda—part of the work is making sense of things together. While I bring clinical perspective and experience, I believe you are the expert on your own life. Therapy is a space where your internal experience is prioritized over the external world. We will also work at a pace that feels supportive and manageable for you.

Location and availability

I offer in-person women’s therapy in Chappaqua and provide telehealth sessions throughout Westchester County and New York State. This allows flexibility while maintaining a consistent, thoughtful therapeutic relationship.

Getting started

Finding the right therapist is an important and personal decision. I aim to offer a supportive, collaborative space where you feel supported and understood. Finding a therapist you feel comfortable with is the most important part of starting therapy. If after our first session it doesn’t feel like the right fit, I will waive the fee so you can continue your search.

Women’s Therapy

Women often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stretched thin, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel sustainable. You may be managing work, parenting, and relationships while feeling anxious, irritable, depleted, or disconnected from yourself. Even when things look “fine” on the outside, it can feel exhausting to hold everything together.

I provide therapy for women navigating emotional overwhelm, anger and irritability, parenting stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, and navigating major life transitions. Many of the women I work with are thoughtful, capable, and deeply invested in others, yet find themselves reacting in ways that don’t reflect how they want to feel or show up in the world. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin responding with more clarity and intention.

How therapy can help

Rather than focusing on quick fixes, my work centers on understanding emotional and relational patterns—how your past experiences, current relationships, and internal expectations shape your reactions to stress, conflict, and intimacy. When these patterns become clearer, change often evolves in a more natural and sustainable way.

In therapy, we may explore:

  • Emotional overwhelm, anger, or irritability

  • Parenting stress and the emotional demands of caregiving

  • Anxiety, depression, and burnout

  • Relationship patterns and boundary difficulties

  • Identity shifts related to motherhood, work, or life transitions

As insight grows, many women find they’re better able to communicate needs, set boundaries, tolerate difficult emotions, and feel more present in their lives.
